Travelling by Rail
Crewe Heritage Centre is
approximately a 20 minute walk from Crewe Railway Station.
When leaving the main station entrance, turn left onto
Nantwich Road. Walk to the crossroads and turn right into Mill
Street. Continue down Mill Street, passing Wickes on your
right and passing underneath the railway bridge, until you
reach the roundabout. Take the 3rd exit onto Vernon Way with
Tesco on the right hand side. Continue until the next
roundabout, take a right turn and follow the signs for Crewe
Heritage Centre.

lines, Crewe Heritage Centre offers half price admission -
just show your valid rail ticket on entry!

addition, passengers travelling with Virgin Trains or London
Midland qualify for 2 for 1 entry. Pick up a leaflet from a
manned rail station or

Travelling by Road
From M6 Junction 16, follow
signs for Crewe and the small brown tourist signs for 'The
Railway Age' which will direct you to the site. We have ample
free parking available, including priority parking spaces for
disabled visitors.

Travelling by Bus
Crewe Heritage Centre is
approximately a 10 minute walk from Crewe Bus Station. From
the Bus Station, walk across Crewe town square exiting by the
NatWest bank. Take the first turning on the left and follow
the road past Christ Church and the Police station. Turn left
into Forge Street and then right to the roundabout on Vernon
Way. A footbridge is available to cross Vernon Way. Follow the
signs to Crewe Heritage Centre.
